I am split bicoastally open, and all I want to do for the rest of the sunny days is go around training my wideset eyes (Edie says this is what makes me look thoughtful) on people and saying yes I said yes I will Yes. over and over and over again until it becomes its own language and we begin to hear its tiniest of inflections.

yes I said yes I will Yes.
yes I said yes I will Yes.
yes I said yes I will Yes.

(For the rest of my life. For the next two weeks, for sure. Until Minnesota and the girls again.)

Lurline laughed at me, but I was serious when I said that the next time I have sex, I want to roll over afterwards, close, and say this, softly: yes I said yes I will Yes.

It certainly will not be any weirder than the things I generally say.
