So many things to say, really, and I am saying so few.

For example: the fact that other people I think sometimes genuinely know what's going on with me better than I do myself.

Also: the crazy and incredible collision of online and offline lives.

And the plans for the ferry to Shelter Island with the wind in my face, whipping my hair.

The disjunction between now and a month from now.

The family updates.

The John updates.

I can plan, but I can't follow through. It's something of a theme.
