Coming Back It's like a puzzle. Fit the pieces into place. I keep saying that I "go home" on Sunday, and my mother most emphatically dislikes it. I talked to Miriam today, and she said that Kara's getting in on Friday, and she's getting in on Saturday. I'm going to be able to dump my bags in my room and head on over to their room and they'll be there and I'll be there and then we'll go out to dinner. So many things, so little time, but still that image in my mind. I said goodbye to Zibby today. And I have no idea when I'll get to see her again. I'll talk to her in a week and a half, but it's not quite the same. She goes off to Shelter Island soonish. I go off to Portland. Who comes back, and when? |
